Haunted Americana

Haunted Americana is a collection of three historic, gothic flash fiction stories. The stories in the collection were written between 2013 and 2015 and were edited in 2017. This collection was inspired by my love of history and my fascination with the potentially supernatural elements that exist throughout America.

“Up On Tallahatchie Bridge” follows a young girl as she struggles to understand the story behind a haunted bridge in her hometown; “Bloody Marriage” tells the story of two women during Victorian times as they seek answers about their love lives through an old game; and “Under the Winchester Stairs” is about a young boy whose father is a carpenter working on the Winchester Mansion in the late 1880s.
